Galion has three reservoirs with a combined capacity of
527 million gallons. The water's source is the Black Fork, a tributary
of the Olentangy River.


The water treatment plant on West Railroad Street
treats and delivers an average of 1.3 million
gallons of water per day, and has a maximum treatment capacity of 4
million gallons per day. City water towers have a combined total
capacity of 1.5 million gallons
