Creation of a Storm Water Utility

In 2000, Galion City Council, after recommendations  from a Storm Water Advisory Committee, created a storm water utility.  Revenue collection started in January 2001.

This Utility fund will provide funding for maintenance and for improvements.  The first capital  project started in 2003.
