Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission’s 2017 Winter Crisis Program runs Nov. 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018. The program can help with a one-time payment for a utility bill or other bulk fuel service.
Applicants MUST have: A utility service that is currently shut off or in disconnection status for the gas and/or electric service, a utility service that needs started or 25 percent or less of their fuel source on hand (propane, fuel oil, wood, coal). In order to be eligible for assistance, total household income must be at or below 175 percent of the 2017-2018 Federal Poverty guidelines.
