Crawford County residents have two primary options for public transportation services. Both options charge a fare based on ride distance.
Seneca-Crawford Area Transportation (SCAT) provides door-to-door, curb-to-curb transportation to residents of Crawford and Seneca counties. Trip needs range from medical and banking, to social and shopping. Out-of-county trips are acceptable.
The organization's mission is to provide a safe, reliable, affordable, and efficient public transportation system.
The SCAT office is located at 107 North Poplar Street, Bucyrus. Hours are Monday through Friday, 5 AM to 6 PM. To schedule a reservation, please call 419-617-7191.
Residents over 60 years of age may also use the Crawford County Council on Aging for transportation. Door-to-door services are provided for various medical appointments, grocery store visits, etc. Vans are equipped with wheelchair lifts.
